Many, many moons ago, back when the world was new ans I was young - I was a waiter working a function, representing Silwood Kitchen. The butter soft lamb presented on the night was so butter soft that a gourmand present elated it as a "palate f...k"!! The experience tonight surpassed that distant evening and I am honoured and grateful.

Ek weet dit is nou presies 'n week later, maar ons wil graag net baie dankie sê vir Maandag-aand. Dit het al my verwagtinge oortref! Die aand, wat lekker rustig begin het met 'n paar gevleuelde klaviernote, en dan die pragtig waterfront liggies wat alles so "magical"laat lyk het . . . en die rustige Johan in sy rooi Crocs, met al die waiters wat so netjies lyk . . . julle het ALMAL se asems weggeslaan met al vyf gange tot die sjokolade na die tyd. Dit was van 'n ander wêreld.

Julle uitstkende diens, gasvryheid en vreidelikheid sal mens nie elders kry nie en ek sien sommer baie daarna uit om weer saam met julle te werk! Geniet Parys terdeë . . . en as ek kon sou ek sommer hier van Robertson Winery af ons eie AWARD OF EXCELLENCE gegee het.

Where do we start - this experience was part of our honeymoon - and we were seated in "Lover's Lane"! The restaurant looked absolutely beautiful - the view awesome! We were made to feel that we were the only people in Emily's. The food was an experience that would be a hard act to follow. Toy all made this trip of ours something to tell all our friends back home (USA) about.
